The organization has broadened DraftKings Racing to Florida, Louisiana, Montana, New Hampshire, Ohio, and Oregon.
US.- DraftKings Racing has expanded to six more US states: Florida, Louisiana, Montana, New Hampshire, Ohio, and Oregon. The action takes place prior to the Kentucky Derby and follows the rollouts in Delaware, New Mexico and Rhode Island earlier in April.
Additional states are anticipated to become operational this year. DK Horse will continue to be accessible as a separate app in states where it presently runs and will be gradually replaced as DraftKings Racing launches in each region.
DraftKings Racing includes promotional features. Although it is reachable within the operator’s sportsbook app, it runs under distinct regulatory systems. Availability differs by state, with some jurisdictions providing horse racing separate from sports wagering.
Johnny Avello, director of race and sports operations at DraftKings, stated: “DraftKings is dedicated to providing the best supporter experience across sports, and we are pleased to keep enhancing that experience for horse racing with DraftKings Racing.
“DraftKings Racing is built for speed and ease, providing a smooth and effective way to interact with the sport’s most significant events. By incorporating horse racing directly into the DraftKings Sportsbook app, users can place bets on various sports in a single location – creating a more unified and efficient experience.”
DraftKings recently declared its plan to introduce its online sports betting and casino offerings in Alberta when regulated online gaming starts in the Canadian province on July 13. This would become the second province in Canada where it runs mobile sports betting and casino products after Ontario.
